What Our Clients Are Saying:
Earl's
Rib Palace
Earl's Rib Palace restaurant in Oklahoma City installed the Redi/Volt
system several years ago. When the owner built on to the facility, the
contractor added an additional breaker panel, but did not install the
Redi/Volt on it. A lightning strike hit the building, and a shot got
into the new panel and destroyed it. The Redi/Volt panels had no
damage upstream or downstream.
"We have had the Redi/Volt installed for over three years and have
noticed a definite reduction in our electric bill. The Redi/Volt
system has already saved us in a lightning storm from extensive damage
to our fuse boxes and restaurant equipment. I would recommend it to
any business interested in saving money and protecting its equipment."
-- Matthew Worsham, General Manager & Partner, Earl's Rib Palace,
Oklahoma City

Meyers-Reynolds & Associates
"We are located in an
older building in downtown Oklahoma City. We have sensitive, network
computer servers on a dedicated circuit to provide some insulation
from circuit surges caused by other equipment on the circuit. In the
past, we had spent a lot of time and money to protect our network
servers from transient voltage surges.
"With Redi/Volt, we spent $8,000 to protect the entire building and
the downstream equipment that is attached to each circuit.
"We're like most commercial businesses that have sensitive electrical
equipment and we can't afford to be off the network. By protecting our
electrical infrastructure at the meter, Redi/Volt has helped ease that
concern about transient voltage surges."
-- Steve Sims, IT director, Meyers-Reynolds & Associates, insurance
and risk management company, Oklahoma City

Lady Forest Farms Chicken Hatchery
Lady Forest Farms in Mississippi installed about 30 Redi/Volt surge
protectors three years ago when it renovated its hatchery.
"Our equipment was so 'derned'
old, we had problems constantly. Redi/Volt has saved our equipment
from power outages and saved money on our electric bills. So far, we
have been real happy. All of our incubators and hatchers are computer
based. We have not lost anything on those, although we've blown about
three or four Redi/Volts, which is what they are supposed to do. They
came out and replaced them at no charge.
With a hatchery, the primary issue is the cycling of the incubators to
heat and cool. "Redi/Volt smoothes out the power whenever the
generator kicks on and off. Our biggest problem would be (incoming)
spikes, caused by lightning strikes. We have to have power at all
times. If we lose power, we could lose everything in the building,
especially if those hatched chicks are all out."
"The tests we've run, we have seen 40 percent savings. I believe
that's a little high. They guarantee 20 percent. There's no doubt in
my mind that we are getting at least that."
-- Billy Cummins, manager, Lady Forest Farms Chicken Hatchery,
Forest, Miss.
